Excellence in Caption-Writing: Grant Brisbee

If NotGraphs exists for one reason, it’s to propagate the spread of Joe West-related art throughout the country, world, and universe. But if NotGraphs exists for two reasons, the second of those is to celebrate what is Good about baseball and the internets.

Thank you, Grant Brisbee, for doing the thing you do.

I can’t stand Ryan Klesko. Mainly because it makes me think of this character from the really old computer game Quake III Arena…

He’s named “Klesk” by the way… that’s where I draw the comparison, not from their similar looks

I’m thinking that Joaquin Phoenix should play Brian Wilson in the Giants biopic. Either that or Robert Duvall.

You guys should really consider getting Grant to write on this site. His brand of humor is perfect for it, and he has a huge following among Giants fans. If you haven’t read him at mccoveychronicles.com then you really really should. For the record, I don’t know him or have any connection to him other than that I am a huge Giants fan and think that he is an incredible writer.
