    I’m pretty sure that is the fake slide to pull the defender off the bag then 2nd effort stolen base. It’s a legit strategy that’s sweeping T-Ball and Drunken Softball leagues around the nation.

    There was a runner on 3rd, trying to keep him honest, then Shoppach was so slow he decided to throw anyway (and missed)

    It dawned on me that if he’d done this in Toronto, because of the fact they only have dirt around the bases, he’d have dived onto the AstroTurf. What a sight that would have made for.
