Hot GIF: Ben Revere Will Break UZR

Posting this because of the look on Ben Revere’s face as he dives and makes one absolutely splendid catch. You can actually see his eyeballs track the baseball as it lands in his glove!

Never in doubt. And, no, there’s nothing quite like a diving catch — fully outstretched — made on the run. It’s my favorite.

H/T: @SAJagfire. His Twitter bio says, “I make GIFs.” It’s the truth.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, that GIF is a beautiful piece of art.

The look on his face says “I do not believe that this is a catchable baseball. And yet here I am, catching it.”

This guy is a joy to watch. He is full of effort and joy and is absolutely amazing with the glove. Its so refreshing to see a guy having fun every night. The smile permanently plastered on his face is pretty infectious.

Actually, I prefer the “Wait, I actually caught that?” when a player looks in his glove and sees the ball in it.

If only he had the arm for center. Then Span could play right.

    • GUY says:

Coco Crisp’s arm is absolutely terrible and he’s fine in center.

Span in right and Revere in center would be the much better plan by UZR and the eye test. Gardy would never displace one of his guys though so it won’t happen.
