Koufax Perfect Game Gingerbread House of the Day

No doubt roused to action by our new “Cakes” category, reader Yirmiyahu, wearer of monocles and four-button spats, calls the writer’s attention to this, which is a surely delicious gingerbread rendering of Sandy Koufax’s 1965 perfect game …

My question was not answered in the above linked intersite.

Were the fans in attendance of the game truly as delicious as they appear to be, in what I can ony assume to be an exact replica model?

I suggest the “Cakes” category be renamed “Baked Goods”. This will resolve the gingerbread controversy and appeal to the pastry, cookie, and brownie crowds as well. In addition, readers who delight in the sweet, gentle whispers of Mary Jane, as dispensed by their local apothecary of course, will no doubt be drawn to the word “baked”.
