Nickname Seeks Former Player: Vote on “Man vs. Bible”

The nomination process, which ran afoul of just about every directive found in Leviticus, is complete and now you may select from the 10 men to follow — men who have been painstakingly drawn and quartered by the forces of Heaven and Hell. Who among these men should be known forevermore as “Man vs. Bible”?

Thank you for exercising the franchise.

Not having read the nominations post/comments, I am at an utter loss to explain why Luis Polonia is included … and/or why it felt so, so right to vote for him.

I am very happy Darrell Porter was selected for the poll, although he is not being celebrated with abundant votes. Yet. Dude’s legendary. Man v. Bible: too much cocaine is so often the end.

I voted for Luis Polonia. He seems like a real gentleman and seems likely to show a gal a good time. I sent my son to live in Wisconsin just on the off chance that I should run into Luis whilst visiting.

I voted for Carl Everett because he seemed to fit this nickname’s spirit of iconoclasm. For instance, much like Jebediah Springfield, I suspect Carl Everett quite capable of misinterpreting a passage from the bible, leaving Maryland, and starting a new community where people can worship freely, govern justly, and grow vast fields of hemp for making rope and blankets.
