Nyjer Morgan Drops Least Surprising F-Bomb on TV

As International Man of the Internet Eric Freeman noted via the Twitters, Natural Born Enthusiast Nyjer Morgan was yelling “Fuck yeah” even as he approached the mic about to broadcast his voice into a million American homes. It was with zero surprise, then, that Morgan continued to ejaculate same glorious ejaculation as TBS on-field reporter Miss Thang placed same microphone in front of Morgan’s speech organ.

The other obvious point is: no one cares. Nyjer Morgan, man of a thousand flaws, is the best possible Transformer: sometimes man, sometimes Joy personified.

UPDATE: Below is another, clearer video (from SportsGrid). The relevant part is around the 1:20 mark, but it’s all pretty great.

Who gets fined? Shouldn’t be Morgan… the man was in beast mode

Shouldn’t be anyone. You can’t fine youthful exuberance.

It’s not youthful exhuberance when you are in your 30s. Nyjer acts like he is 21 but he is really 10 years older than that and his shtick is quite annoying. Especially when he can only perform at a high level when he is mad at an organization for not taking “full advantage of Tony Plush”. See Pirates, Pittsburgh and Nationals, Washington.

He’s such an obnoxious a-hole but everyone seems to enjoy his “character”. I really want to like the Brewers but he makes it difficult.

I’m not going to lie. I’d be yelling the same thing if that was me.

Honestly I didn’t know people outside of Milwaukee liked him. He’s 30 years old and he doesn’t know how to act. He has issues.

I can’t stand this guy. His shtick is worse than Brian Wilson’s facial hair, and the playoffs have barely begun. Go Cardinals!

  8. For what it’s worth to all those lambasting the guy, I’m pretty sure he does say: “Sorry about that…” at 1:35.

Seems we have people who take themselves/baseball a little too far on the “serious” side in this comment section. The guy is a personality and has a ton of fun playing this game. Is he weird and loud? Absolutely. Is he funny and a breath of fresh air in comparison to all the “media-savvy, says all the right things” guys out there?

You fucking betcha. Love this guy, love his reaction. It’s only life; no need to take it so seriously.

Oh, it’s not just here, it’s pretty much everywhere, because people are hypocrites.

You just know all the Morgan backlash is coming from the same people who lambast players like JD Drew for being ‘passionless’.

Dude just authored only the third Game 5 NLDS walkoff win, sending his team to fight for their first league championship since 1982. A little enthusiam is warranted, I think.

i like how they nearly kill him at the bottom of that pile and then when he gets up he needs to breathe for a little bit before continuing to party.

It is just so refreshing to see athlete’s who care. The Brewers and their celebrations and attitudes make me like baseball and sports in general even more.
