Oops!

Oh, Red Sox. Why’d you have to start the game so early yesterday?

Yep, Shields and Bard, both on my bench. 1 earned run. I lose my week by less than 80 points, and I’m putting a curse on the Red Sox. Another one.

Patriots Day is the bane of fantasy baseballers everywhere. Imagine the hell that is a league where you’ve got to set your entire week’s lineup prior to Monday’s first game?

12 team ESPN league with a point system and a max of 7 starts per week — so starters don’t have as much value as they would if starts were unlimited, and I decided to hoard a bunch in the auction (we have 9 bench slots) and see how it shakes out.
