Great Moments in Freddie Freeman and Dan Uggla’s Friendship

Freddie Freeman’s a hugger. You can tell. Dan Uggla knows it. That’s why he’s gently placed his right hand on Freeman’s head. Freeman even uses leg. He’s getting his. He’s Freddie Freeman.
When reached for comment via email by our intrepid Investigative Reporting Investigation Team, Freeman, much to our surprise, replied (emphasis his):
I know a lot of people. A lot of people know me. But only a few people really know me know me, you know what I mean? Uggs is one of those people.
Yes, Freddie Freeman, we know exactly what you mean. Keep on huggin’.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
No, not at all.
It’s cuddle time!
One of my favorite things about the Braves this year and last has been watching when either Uggs or Freeman hit a homer, and when they get back to the dugout high-fiving and/or forearm smashing each teammate, stopping to hug each other mightily, and then continuing down the line of high-five/forearm smashing.
This is like an illustration from one of those books that Dayn has been posting about.

“Daddy’s home,” Uggla’s eyes are saying. “Daddy’s home. It’s all going to be OK.”
Nickname seeks Player: Dan Huggla
C’mon Navin, I think we all know the real question here: Will Freeman be attending pride in Toronto?
I don’t know about Freeman. All I know is that our mayor won’t be there.
To be frank, I’d rather Freeman be there. Dude looks like a barrel of monkeys.
YES! As my friends and I refer to them (started it last year), FRUGGLA is a beautiful, beautiful thing. Their friendship/bromance is my favorite.
