Video: Dickey vs. Wang, The Trailer
The result of this afternoon’s Mets and Nationals game doesn’t matter. We’ve all already won.
Actually, now that I think about it, the result does matter. Between Dickey and Wang, who will last longer? Everything is on the line.
Enjoy, my friends, because it’s unlikely a matchup this perfect ever comes around again. It’s an amazing time to be alive.

1 Fortunately, there are no umpires named Bobbitt.
2 Both men have uncut… fastballs.
On an unrelated topic, Fister for Furbush still makes me laugh (for similar non baseball reasons.)
This analysis is cockeyed.
I don’t get it.
I have somewhere a photo of two Yankee fans, their backs to the camera, the gentleman on the left wearing an Aaron Small player t-shirt, the gentleman on the right wearing a Chien-Ming Wang player t-shirt.

Trying to align the stars for the right guys to face each other is obviously the tricky part, but I think all of the following players bring great potential:
R.A. Dickey
Chien-Ming Wang
Doug Fister
Duane Below
Chris Sale
Bartolo Colon
Charlie Furbush
It’s a shame they’re on the same team, but who wouldn’t love Fister-Below? I don’t think there’s an honest man here who hasn’t attended at least one Furbush-Sale.
You know what I like most about you Navin? How truly sophisticated your sense of humor is. Well done!
