What Won’t Pedro Ciriaco Swing At?

As noted in our parent pages a while back, Red Sox infielder Pedro Ciriaco never met a pitch he didn’t like. But are his wild-swinging tendencies limited to just baseballs?

It’s time to play the game show sensation that’s sweeping the nation:

Round 1: Will Pedro Ciriaco swing at a Honey Baked Ham?

YES!

Round 2: Will Pedro Ciriaco swing at a new iPhone 5?

NO!

Round 3: Will Pedro Ciriaco swing at the severed head of Wolf Blitzer?

YES!

Tune in next week for another exciting episode of What Won’t Pedro Ciriaco Swing At?

You would think the sight of the big dead head of a prominent news celebrity would be enough to give Pedro Ciriaco pause. You would think that, and you would be wrong.

To be fair, Carter Capps has some nasty stuff.

Agreed – he gets pretty good break on that ham.

He better be glad Davey Johnson wasn’t there to have an umpire inspect that ham. If the honey glaze goes too far up the ham, he could be ejected and forced to throw a meatloaf next time.

Where is Capps storing all of these things? This is just excellent by the way.

This is excellent.

Alternate headline: “Carter Capps Throws Everything But The Kitchen Sink.”

I see the next post featuring a deftly hurled (and possibly swung at) kitchen sink.

I would like to now point out that at this point in the 2013 season, Pedro Ciriaco has the highest BB% of any middle infielder.
