Tillman for real?

0 votes
I know Chris Tillman faced the Mariners @ Safeco, so the results are a bit tainted, but he was throwing 97MPH a lot, and averaged out over 95MPH over his start. That's a lot harder than he used to throw. The scouting report article on here a few weeks ago made it sound like he's got a good feel of all of his pitches right now.

The question is, will it last? Is he a better pick-up ROS in a deep AL-only league than A.J. Griffin and Luis Mendoza and Luke Hochevar? Pitching at that ballpark in that division is tough :-(

I guess I just had to ask, and Jack Moore wrote a whole article about him!

well, Hochevar sprained his ankle.

Yeah I'm putting a claim in on Tillman.

Also I dropped Quintana perhaps too soon, so I'm going to try to pick him back up.

How would you rank Tillman, Quintana?

Would you drop Lilly and Detwiler for them? In what order?
