News: Varitek (neck) entered Friday night's game after Victor Martinez fouled a ball off his left big toe, the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis: Varitek had missed the last three games and was being held out for a fourth on Friday before Martinez left the game. Both players are expected to be in the lineup Saturday.
