News: Manager Joe Giradi is considering using a three-man rotation for the ALCS, the Yankees' official site reports.
Analysis: The three-man rotation would consist of CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Andy Pettitte. Unless your playoff pools value middle relief, it may be time to start looking elsewhere for pitching.

News: The Yankees have reportedly decided to pitch Chamberlain on regular rest from this point forward, the Journal News reports.
Analysis: After giving Chamberlain eight days off and watching him allow seven runs in his return, the Yankees apparently decided he needs to be part of the regular rotation and not have to worry about how many days off he'll have between starts. Of course, his much-discussed innings limit will still be in effect, so look for Chamberlain to have a quick hook from here on out. Some of his starts may last less than five innings.
