News: The White Sox will place Getz on the 15-day disabled list either Thursday or Friday with an oblique injury, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis: Chicago will recall Brent Lillibridge to take Getz's place on the roster. Jayson Nix will likely take over at second base while Getz is out.

News: Getz (broken finger) will be in the White Sox lineup Friday against Texas, according to the team's official site.
Analysis: Getz said he felt strong enough to play Tuesday, but the team is going to give him a couple extra days of rest to be sure.
