News: McCann will undergo Lasik eye surgery for the second time in two years, the team's official web site reports.

Analysis: Normally, Lasik eye surgery isn't a big concern for athletes these days. However, McCann had blurred vision in his left eye in April that put him on the DL and caused him to miss 14 games while he learned to play with glasses. If the surgery goes well, it could lead to an improvement in 2010 (not that McCann's hitting - .281/349/.486 with 21 home runs - suffered too much last season). McCann says there's little risk to the procedure, but this is something to track in the offeseason given his history.

Analysis: He left Tuesday's game with a bruised wrist, but it doesn't look like a serious injury.
