News: Coghlan is batting second and starting at second base over Dan Uggla on Friday night, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Analysis: Uggla's slow start and the fact that Emilio Bonifacio has cooled off in recent weeks will put Coghlan in line for duty at second and third, while the Zephyrs started him in left field on Thursday night, opening up the possibility of him starting there at some point for the Marlins as well. He's a viable pickup in many formats given his versatility and how well he's handled the bat in the minors.
