News: Jones would appear to be the main beneficiary of Ken Griffey, Jr. not signing with the Braves. He'll compete for the left-handed side of a platoon in left field with Matt Diaz as the right-handed hitter.
Analysis: The Braves have said they're still exploring options to bring in a veteran outfielder, so that can't be a good sign for Jones. Still, he has a shot to win playing time with a strong spring after a disappointing 2008 season in the minors.
