News: Vizcaino will join the Indians Thursday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: He threw two batting practice sessions for the Indians, and they were impressed by the way his pitches sunk. It is still not known who will fall off the 25-man roster.

News: Vizcaino appears to be the reliever most in danger of losing a spot, the Chicago Tribune reports. The Cubs must pay him $3.5 million this year, and another $500,000 to decline his $4 million option for 2010, but that won't prevent manager Lou Piniella from cutting him.
Analysis: Vizcaino came in the Jason Marquis trade, so it wasn't as if the Cubs were dying to get him. If Vizcaino doesn't make the team, Jeff Samardzija has a good chance to break camp with the club.
