News: Smith went 1-for-3 including a run and two walks in Friday's loss to the Marlins.
Analysis: While at-bats have been somewhat hard to come by for Smith, he has not disappointed when given the opportunity, and the Rockies have fit him into 25 of 27 games in 2009. He has shown discipline at the plate, posting a .275/.439/.510 including four home runs through 51 at-bats this season. If he remains in the leadoff spot (which we do not expect him to do), his fantasy value would rise.
