News: Jaramillo has started each of the Pirates' six games in June.

Analysis: Jaramillo's calling card is defense but it's been his offense that's kept him behind the plate over Robinzon Diaz recently. Jaramillo has seven hits in 20 June at-bats, with eight RBI.

News: Jaramillo went 2-for-4 with an RBI Monday night against the Brewers.

Analysis: He's hitting .308 (12-for-39) since taking over for the injured Ryan Doumit (wrist). Jaramillo's showing some gap power with six doubles and will continue to see the bulk of starts for Pittsburgh until Doumit comes back in late June or July.
