News: Morrow (arm) will not be brought up this week as had been reported, but will start for Triple-A Tacoma in Friday's playoff game, the Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: The Mariners plan to keep their rotation intact for the remainder of the road trip, meaning Luke French will start and so will Doug Fister, whose blister is healing well.

News: Morrow's last start was cut short after five innings due to stiffness in his pitching arm, the Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: This might delay Morrow's promotion to Seattle. The Mariners intend to add him sometime after the rosters expand, possibly going to a six-man rotation.
