News: Saunders will start Game 2 against the Yankees in Yankee Stadium, the LA Times reports.
Analysis: Saunders didn't get to pitch in the ALDS series against the Red Sox, because it was a sweep. The Angels want Saunders to pitch in Game 2 both because he can help neutralize the short right field porch better, and because Jered Weaver, who will pitch in Game 3, fares much better at home.

News: Manager Mike Scioscia confirmed that Saunders (shoulder) will start Wednesday's game against the Tigers, the LA Times reports.
Analysis: Saunders has not pitched since August 7. The Angels will be counting on him to help stabilize a rotation that has been a little shaky of late.
