News: Ziegler picked up the save in the A's 7-6 win over Tampa Bay on Wednesday.
Analysis: Ziegler needed a sliding catch by Ryan Sweeney to nail down the save, but it's a good sign for Ziegler owners that he was asked to protect a one-run lead entering the ninth.

News: Ziegler estimates that it will be another two weeks before he's back feeling 100 percent after a recent bout of the flu and an asthma attack, the team's web site reports.
Analysis: It's hard to recommend Ziegler this week if you have an attractive alternative given the A's collective struggles, the fact that they play just five games this week, and the fact that A's manager Bob Geren isn't automatically going to call on Ziegler to nail down the next A's save opportunity.
