Last night, Randy Wolf led the Dodgers in both pitching and hitting WPA in their win over the Cubs. I call this 'pulling a Zambrano.' Seems like Z has done this a few times. How often does a pitcher lead his team in pitching and hitting WPA in a win? I know Ted Lilly and Jason Marquis have each Zambranoed this year. I'd love to know the career leaders in Zambranos or Hamptons or whatever it should be called.

Gallardo beat the Pirates 1-0 on April 29, where the only run was a HR by him. He also beat the Giants 4-2 April 8 when he hit a 3-run HR, but Coffey got a little more WPA for shutting the door. I wonder how many Owings would have if he was actually a decent pitcher.

That's a good one. Gallardo had .553 pitching and .175 hitting.
Z almost did it again last night. CG w/2 of the 3 Cub RBI's. However, both RBI's were tack-on runs with the first coming on a fielder's choice. So, Z finished 3rd to his little friends Fuld and Theriot.

Chicago: When a .600 WP, 3.69 ERA, 3.62 FIP pitcher with a .448 SLG can acquire the disdain of the press.
