What's with the RSS feeds?

All of a sudden, the RSS feed for the site's articles only contains the first few sentences of an article, rather than the whole content of the article. I imagine that this was a byproduct of the software change you guys made. Could you change it back to the old format of having the whole article? Thanks.

There were a number of sites republishing our content with the full RSS feed, so I just shut it off. Let me think this over and I may turn on the full feed again, but I think most sites don't put full article contents in their feed?

I don't have a decent computer at work. I can barely go to any websites. That's why I HAVE to use RSS feeds. I LOVE fangraphs but can't look at it's actual site. :(

I know Dave Cameron was having that problem on USS Mariner and he combatted it with a footnote in the RSS feed saying something like "this content is only published on USS Mariner, anyplace else is stealing this content" or somethign like that.

    PLEASE! Bring back full feeds!

I also miss the full article in the RSS feed - it's much safer to stay in my RSS reader while I'm work.

Cast my vote to bring it back!

Ok, full feeds are back! I'll just have to start sending out some cease and desist letters instead.

Thank you so much. As an alternative idea there is still also the idea of adding a footer that appears in the RSS feed. I looked up USS Mariner's:

-- This post came from: U.S.S. Mariner, and is copyright by the authors. This RSS feed is intended for the personal use of readers and not, for instance, spam blogs.

Something like that would hopefully discourage usage on other sites.
