Should Sluggers Ever Bunt?

The New York Yankees' power-hitting first baseman Mark Teixeira recently said that he plans to try and bunt to beat the shift in 2012. Some might wonder whether he is getting paid $180 million to bunt, but is there evidence that it might actually be a good idea?
