Veteran players have produced mixed results this season, with a few unexpected outliers.

The Rays Evan Longoria and and the Rockies Troy Tulowitzki have been of almost identical offensive value the last few seasons. Which is the better hitter, though? Some would argue that Longoria faces tougher pitching by being in the American League, however, others argue that this advantage is nullified by the greater proportion of aces Tulowitzki faces in the National League West. Which matters more?
